The generation of kids that originally watched lbt is a bit, older now. I think it would be cool if they came out with a next generation, designed for the children of today. You know, littlefoot is older, but just as playful, but solving problems that fit an older age. anyone see any potential here? I’d be glad to here your responses.October 7, 2016 at 3:50 pm #2411

I’d be open to a spinoff series where they’re all grown up. But it’s true what you say. If they want to keep their target audience they’re going to have to adapt. LBT seems stuck in the 90’s and early 2000’s. The art style, the songs, the overall “feel” to it…..it all feels out of date. Still, kids are kids and I don’t think Universal thinks they have to put much work into it.October 7, 2016 at 7:21 pm #2420

Next gen would be great, especially if they reanimated it to look more modern. I was very surprised that the 14th movie was animated pretty much the same as the 13th which is 9 years old now. And theyve been animating like that since the 8th movie, which came out 15 years ago! I like the way they animate, but they’re trying to appeal to kids of this generation, not 15 years ago.October 8, 2016 at 5:34 pm #2447
I have a vision. Of an lbt next generation series with higher definition animation. Beautiful lush forests. Tree stars actually look like large leaves. What I can’tell figure out is what to do about Littlefoot’s grandparents. They were already old. We can’t include senility in a g rated movie. I personally know what it’s like because my great grandfather went through it a year ago and fortunately is in a better place now. Any suggestions for the next generation series?October 8, 2016 at 6:01 pm #2450
I can only imagine. They were already troublemakers. A teenage little and cera. The thought makes me laugh.October 8, 2016 at 6:03 pm #2451

Well an update in animation would certainly be welcome. But as for time passing, that doesn’t really happen on any sort of major scale in children’s shows. Littlefoot will always be a kid, and his grandparents will always just be old.
If they did show a teenaged Littlefoot and Cera, I can only imagine that the friction between them would intensify. Could make for some good fireworks! LOL.October 9, 2016 at 1:16 pm #2464
Yeah. I don’t know. If I could make a live action trailer/sample I would.October 9, 2016 at 1:37 pm #2470

Were you hoping for a live action one? That might be interesting.October 23, 2016 at 5:19 pm #2688
I did have a funny idea for one episode. The kids would be around those lava vent things they almost use as a campfire. And they would be using Chomper as mosquito repellent (he’d eat the bugs).
