It just kinda gets to me that Universal derived his name from the street name for his species (brontosaurus) as opposed to the proper name (apatosaurus). Accordingly, I probably would’ve named him Apat, Pat, or, if I felt like putting some humor for the Spanish speakers in there, Pato (‘pato’ means ‘duck’ in Spanish, so it would be kinda funny to have that as his name when there’s a major character named Ducky)

Well Bron definitely has a better ring to it than Apat or anything that could be derived from apatosaurus, so I kinda like it too. I just don’t like that it was derived from the street name for his species instead of the proper one.
