I know that the Tinysaurues and especially the crazy fight at the end (even I, a LBT fan, can see that it was too cliche)
However, the song Creepy Crawlies actually was pretty dark (at least when sung by the adults. I don’t believe that Ducky and Petrie were interested in actually killing the Tinysarueses when they sang it). It actually isn’t much different from the song below (it even shares the similar line of everything that is different is dangerous.)March 12, 2018 at 10:35 pm #4559
Holy crap!! Those songs are actually VERY similar!! I never realized that until you mentioned it.March 13, 2018 at 12:44 am #4563
Here’s another Disney song that’s pretty similar to Creepy Crawlies and not a far off summation of the movie as a whole.
Funny little side note: whenever I heard that song as a kid, I always heard “They’re sandwiches! Sandwiches!”

I’m wondering, in the “Kill the Beast!” song, which I think is actually called “Mob Song”, how their torches were able to stay lit during that rainstorm.March 13, 2018 at 7:18 pm #4568

And I suppose Gaston used the magic mirror to show him where the castle was even though it doesn’t show that.
Gaston sings about going through the forest and across a drawbridge and to a castle. However, as far as what was shown, Gaston only saw the Beast, not where he was. So how did he find him? (Especially as I don’t think the villagers knew where the Castle was either and they happened to lock the only two people in the town (Belle and her father) in the cellar so it’s a mystery how they found the Castle, unless Gaston asked the mirror, but he seemed to know already as he sang the song what was on the way to the Castle.
BTW, in my LBT 26 part 3, I was going to have a song that is a combination of “Kill the Beast!” and “Savages!” It would be where the Valley, due to Deino’s deliberate mismanagement, was mostly short of green food (Deino happened to totally control the remaining supply as a manager.) Bron, believing that Chomper was a ringleader of the Valley of Sharpteeth and responsible for the deaths of Doc and the Old One, lead the charge. Deino, of course, had tipped off the Valley of Sharpteeth and they were marching too. I even thought of having them sing (mostly in Sharptooth), though their leader I think I’ll have know Leaf Eater. Also a double-double cross, Deino and the Valley of Sharpteeth leader, Malum, who had actually staged a coup himself to take over sometime earlier and had in fact driven Chomper out, knew the Valley was coming but didn’t care either. He was mad because loads in the pack had supported his brother Antiochles who had banished him years earlier along with his brother Tyrannus (the original Sharptooth) and he thought their deaths would be payback for not supporting him. The plan of Malum and Deino was to control both Valleys. Malum would get control of the Great Valley back and Deino would have a whole monopoly on the large supplies of green food in the West which would enable him to rule the world (his allies had already started taking over in the East.) As for having Sharpteeth singing, I had wondered if it was a bridge too far, but then remembered that Mo had sung in Marine in LBT 9. And I wanted some way to also bring in a pack of Fast Biters and a pack of Sharp Beaks invovled too, but am not sure if that will work out.
