I am not sure why Spike’s parents were not around when Spike was born
I like to watch Dino Squad, Street Sharks, Sabrina's Secret Life, Extreme Dinosaurs, Sonic Underground, Transformers Prime, Power Rangers, Yugioh, Phineas and Ferb, Digimon, Cardfight Vanguard, Land Before Time (14 Films and TV Series) and I like to play Zuma Deluxe
Maybe that’s how Spiketails do things. Maybe they lay their eggs in a hidden spot and come back for them later after they’ve hatched. There are some species that do that. Though normally they bury them to keep them warm. Spike’s egg wasn’t buried.
Maybe his parents thought he was a bad egg and left.
