Chomper HuggerUser
The lines at the end almost seem to hint that, but, then again, the lines at the end of 13 were a tiny bit similar.
At the very least, now a probably pathway to a nice-forever Chomper was opened with the final lines of 14.
May 13, 2016 at 11:17 pm #2065Chomper HuggerUserI don’t think it was bad at all. I think 6 was the worst to be honest.
I would put 14 between 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 12 and the others in terms of quality.
My personal belief is that only a finale could beat 1.
May 14, 2016 at 10:58 pm #2129ChrisUserI still see potential for a sequel. Or some kind of next-generation franchise.

October 8, 2016 at 10:22 am #2422ChrisUserI Believe in an idea of completing Don Bluth’s idea of a Bambi but with dinosaurs idea. I believe in a final trilogy or maybe more movies that show Littlefoot and the rest of the gang of 7 growing up and in the end, Littlefoot has a son and daughter born of Ali. They would be animated in the old style of the first four Land Before Time movies. In the end, Littlefoot unites the different herbivores and his children are born. In the next movie, which centers around Littlefoot’s children and leaves the plate open to a next gen, Littlefoot is reunited with his mother, father, and granparents when he dies of old age and completes the circle of life. :happy_littlefoot

February 2, 2018 at 9:27 pm #3968Chomper HuggerUserI don’t have Littlefoot die in my fanfiction, though he does unite the herbivores, though he nearly DOES die in the effort, especially near the end of his quest to unite them I do have a next generation of two or so kids of Littlefoot’s plus the kids of the other six main members of the Gang.
Interestingly, Littlefoot does stay friends with Chomper (though there was huge trouble right before he completed the quest to unite the herbivores as the villain who didn’t want them united tried to break Litltefoot and Chomper apart). Chomper may have been the first Sharptooth to hatch in the Great Valley in 100 years (long story) but his offspring will be the first that won’t face a lot of hate and Chomper became the first Sharptooth, at least in 100 years (when Sharpteeth ran the Valley) to hold a leadership position. Interestingly, Ruby and Strut area also given leadership positions, officially ending (again) the herbviore only domination of the roles.
My finale idea pretty much is a trilogy, though, like Lord of the Rings, it’s actually one big movie with three parts that is made into three movies as a cash cow..
It covers a lot of ground, revealing how Bron and Littlefoot’s mother met, how the Great Valley was settled, the past of Guido, the past of Doc (who is revealed to be the Lone Dinosaur, and the past of the Old One, and also some of Ruby’s past.).
Also, there appear to be a pair of star crossed lovers when Chomper inadvertantly falls in love with the niece of the original Sharptooth.
February 3, 2018 at 10:52 pm #3977ChrisUserI also would want to make a prequel following the events of Littlefoot’s family prior to the first movie.

February 7, 2018 at 12:22 pm #3990LittlefootUserI’m going to start reading/writing LBT fanfic pretty soon, so maybe I can write some stuff like that. One of my ideas happens to be a prequel to the original movie, and another idea I have is to do a next-generation of LBT with the Gang and their kids. I’ll also probably be addressing the fates of some of the characters where we don’t know what happens to them (e.g. Ducky and Cera’s siblings). I’ll probably start a thread for my fanfic ideas.
February 7, 2018 at 4:28 pm #3992Chomper HuggerUserI’ve already got an idea, in fanfics, for the fates of the following:
1.) The rest of Littlefoot’s herd (where did they go and how did Bron, Grandpa and Grandma Longneck, and Littlefoot’s mother survive when the others didn’t?)
2.) Cera’s mother and siblings.
3.) Petrie’s father
4.) Spike’s parents.
5.) Bron’s parents.
6.) Guido’s family
7.) Skip’s parentsI also had some other ideas:
1.) Ralphie: A Swimmer like Ducky, except he lost his parents when he was a kid (he lived in the Mysterious Beyond) and was often just barely avoiding Sharpteeth and so was more serious and paranoid (and also shy about sining) and yet fell in love with Ducky in movie 22.
2.) Pip (a brother of Petrie’s) that I mention some about.
3.) Reina, a sister of Petrie’s. Falls in love with my OC named Ptero.
4.) Bambo, a Threehorn who, like Cera, has issues with racism, but, unlike Cera, is also a sexist too. Yet he eventually falls in love with Cera.
5.) Barra, a Barrasaurus. Created in response to some fan questions, I thought it would be amusing to have Littlefoot go out with a “bad girl” in one movie. (It would make him appreciate Ali more!!!)
6.) Dayo- A Brachiosaurus who was orphaned. (Though you don’t know it at first in XVI.) She falls in love with Shorty and is, in part, responsible for him overcoming his mental block on his past.
7.) Derrick, a sibling of Ducky’s. Actually, one of her twins. Ducky gets along, mostly, with her other siblings, but Derrick is one she cannot stand. Actually, she has said that she’d rather have a Fast Biter or a Swimming Sharptooth for a brother than him. (They do reconcile though.) Derrick is not fond of Spike (they too reconcile in the end though) and thinks he doesn’t fit in with the rest of the family.
8.) Tribus/Tryus (not sure which name I’ll use of the two yet): the father of Mr. Threehorn. He may be getting old but he’s still tough. And he’s about 10 times worse on racism than his son, but not beyond hope.
9.) Stella – the sister of Spike’s father Steg, hence his long-lost aunt.February 8, 2018 at 2:26 pm #3996Balto KirigayaUserI really hope not! I need to know if Bron stayed in the valley!
