  • So for LBT 17, I decided to focus on Cera’s family. I was going to do a backstory on what happened to her mother and her siblings. Also, I was going to mention more on Dana and Dinah and Tria. And I brought in Cera’s grandfather, Trius. He is still pro-segregation and is worse than his son had been.

The main theme of this story is that sometimes it’s better to walk away from a fight than always keep fighting over things. The main conflict of this story deals with a Threehorn toughness contest called The Threehorn Gathering. Here, Topps and his father are hoping to settle a score with some of their old enemies from the past. This movie is going to premiere new types of Threehorns, like Chasmosaurus.

To make matters more interesting, the Threehorn Gathering has typically had only males competing, though technically nothing in the rules bars females. Cera decides to join (and Tria does too). Cera, however, is mocked by a cocky Threehorn named Bambo, who thinks a girl could never be tough enough to win it. As the story progresses, Cera and Bambo become friendly and end up dating by the end. (Yes, Cera gets a boyfriend.)

This one will be called The Land Before Time XVII: The Threehorn Gathering.

"Time is not our enemy, it is our friend. It gives us new opportunities and washes away our bad experiences and failures. It provides us with new experiences, people, and places, and by taking old ones away, reminds us to appreciate the moment while we can."
