They were shown sleeping besides Littlefoot and their daughter in the nighttime scene where Littelfoot wanders off. However, in the fight with Sharptooth, only Mama Longneck turns up and Grandpa and Grandpa Longneck aren’t seen until the Great Earthshake happens.
Interestingly, if his grandparents had joined the fight (and especially if all of them survived), the group may (or may not, due to needing larger food sources as well as the larger Longnecks being a bigger magnet for large predators than the small children would be) have had an easier time on the trip to the Great Valley wtih Littlefoot’s mother and grandparents with them.
